Terms and Conditions for Angus Munro language Solutions

Welcome to Angus Munro Language Solutions. By engaging in my tutoring services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully prior to booking sessions. 

1. Services Offered 

1.1 Angus Munro Language Solutions provides personalized English tutoring for business and professional purposes. 

1.2 Services may include one-on-one sessions, group sessions, and online courses. Maximum group size of four people.

2. Booking and Payment 

2.1 Session Booking: Tutoring sessions must be booked in advance via email or phone. 

2.2 Payment: Payment is required upfront or as per an agreed-upon schedule. Payment to be made via bank transfer only. 

2.3 Invoices: Invoices will be issued upon request for all payments made. 

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling 

3.1 Cancellations by the Client: 

Sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled at no additional cost. 

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a forfeiture of the session fee. 

3.2 Cancellations by Angus Munro Language Solutions: 

In the rare event that I need to cancel a session, it will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time. 

3.3 Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule a session with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability. 

4. Refund Policy 

4.1 Refunds are not provided for unused sessions or missed sessions without prior notice. Lessons paid for have a 6-month validity. period.

4.2 Refunds for prepaid packages will be considered only in exceptional cases and at the discretion of Angus Munro Language Solutions. 

5. Client Responsibilities 

5.1 Punctuality: Clients are expected to arrive on time for sessions. Late arrivals will result in a shortened session without refund.

5.2 Preparation: If agreed upon, clients should make an effort to complete any assigned work or preparation before sessions to maximize progress. 

5.3 Environment: For online sessions, clients must ensure a quiet, distraction-free environment and a stable internet connection. 

6. Tutor Responsibilities 

6.1 Angus Munro Language Solutions will provide high-quality, professional tutoring tailored to the client’s needs. 

6.2 All materials provided are for the client’s personal use only and may not be distributed or shared without prior consent. 

7. Confidentiality 

7.1 All information shared during sessions, including personal and professional details, will be treated as confidential. 

7.2 Angus Munro Language Solutions will not share client information with third parties without explicit consent, except as required by law. 

8. Liability 

8.1 Angus Munro Language Solutions is not responsible for any outcomes resulting from the use of services, including exam results or professional advancements. 

8.2 The client assumes all responsibility for their own learning progress and application of knowledge. 

9. Termination of Services 

9.1 Either party may terminate the tutoring arrangement with written notice of at least 14 days. 

9.2 In the event of termination, any unused prepaid sessions will be refunded, subject to the Refund Policy outlined. 

10. Intellectual Property 

10.1 All materials provided during tutoring sessions, including lesson plans and worksheets, remain the intellectual property of Angus Munro Language Solutions. 

10.2 Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or sell any materials without explicit written permission. 

11. Dispute Resolution 

11.1 Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be resolved amicably through discussion.  

12. Amendments 

12.1 Angus Munro Language Solutions reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
